All About Lily Ladue

Anything and everything you needed to know about us

Where is Lily Ladue based?

Lily Ladue is a little family-owned business based a few miles outside of St. Louis, Missouri, in the good old United States of America. We're surrounded by forests, rivers, and lots of fresh air.

Why did Lily Ladue begin?

After years of selling successfully on Amazon, the Grant family behind Lily Ladue decided it was time to expand so other people would benefit from this amazing product selection. We've seen our products touch the lives and homes of many, and it's our goal to bring our special brand of hospitality, warmth, and aesthetics into your home.

What makes your products special?

These aren't your dime-store candles. Encased in beautiful multipurpose vessels that you can customize as your own once you've depleted the wax, our candles contain carefully-curated fragrances to suit any kind of experience. Whether you're looking to relax, to energize, or celebrate, we've got something for you.

What do you mean by "the optimum levels of fragrance?"

"Optimum levels of fragrance" pertains to the amount of essential oil that gets poured into the wax. If it's too much, the scent is overpowering, and often causes nausea, headaches, and dizziness - like a man who's splashed on a bit too much aftershave in the close confines of an elevator! If there isn't enough oil, the scent is underpowering; you won't smell a thing, especially not from across the room. Our candles make sure to put just the right amount, so the result is a pleasant ambient fragrance with a good throw.

Are your products all-natural?

Sustainability by way of good quality is a top priority for us. That's why we choose 100% soy wax for our candles, and get our wooden bowls from trees that grow in America, to ensure continuity. The vessels we choose for every candle are attractive enough to double as decor items, to minimize waste.

How durable are your products?

As with every product worth its value, these products can break, but you can depend on their sturdiness and durability. The wooden bowls and metal vessels will last for the foreseeable future; we've gone through great pains to ensure top quality in everything we do, whether the items are sourced for reputable friends and suppliers, or created at home in our workshop.
